Joey Lawrence and Wife Samantha Cope Break Up After 2 Years of Marriage – E! Online

This is the third divorce for Joey, who was previously married to Michelle Vella and Chadie Yawn-Nelson, with whom he shares daughters Charleston, 18, and Liberty, 14.

The actor first met Samantha while filming their 2021 Lifetime thriller My Husband’s Secret Brother, in which he played her lover-turned-murderer.

“I’d never dated somebody that I’d worked with before,” Joey recalled of the meet-cute in a December People interview. “That was just very, very much out of the ordinary for me.”

He added, “Look, life is a beautiful, sometimes crazy-unexpected journey, and the ups and downs are real, and I’m very thankful that people that I love are around me and that there’s health around us.”
