Meryl Streep Gives the Middle Finger While Sitting With Martin Short at SNL 50th Anniversary Concert
Mamma mia, Amy Schumer has some tea on Meryl Streep and Martin Short.
Amid rumors the Only Murders in the Building costars may very well be dating, the comedian shared her POV after sitting next to the duo at SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert Feb. 15.
“There’s really no one funnier to sit next to than Marty Short,” Schumer told People. “I think that the tea is, I think Marty might be off the market. That’s what I’m seeing. I don’t know.”
And while she didn’t name names, it’s not big little lie she was hinting at Streep, as she teased, he could be taken by “by just, like, the greatest actor of our time. I don’t know.”
So, what we do know? Well, while his rep denied romance rumors last January—telling E! News “they are just very good friends, nothing more”—the pair have only caused fans to think otherwise about their relationship.
