Brittany Snow & Malin Akerman React to Potential Season 2 of ‘The Hunting Wives’ at 2025 VMAs
Brittany Snow thinks these theories are aca-awesome.
The Pitch Perfect alum revealed she’s in full support of fans speculating that there’s a romantic connection between her character in the 2012 franchise, Chloe, and Anna Kendrick‘s Beca.
“It wasn’t written like that, necessarily,” Brittany shared in an exclusive E! News clip of the Oct. 28 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, quipping, “Apparently, I give off an energy [and] I’m really appreciative of that.”
However, Brittany admitted that she has seen fan-made edits of a shower scene from the first film, in which Chloe and Beca appear to exchange some sensual glances. And according to the John Tucker Must Die actress, that wasn’t entirely on accident.
“It was sort of that archetype of two girls in a shower,” Brittany explained, “and I think Kendrick and I wanted to do more with it.”
Recalling that the pair wanted the scene to feel “a little more spicy just to shake it up,” she continued, “Then it became what it became, but we had no idea that it would mean so much to people.”
