After the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards abruptly ended before Alex Warren could give his Song of the Year speech, the “Ordinary” singer shared his reaction to walking away with the major win.
The 25-year-old posted a mirror selfie with his wife Kouvr Annon onto his Instagram Stories March 27 while holding up the envelope that announced him as the winner of the night’s biggest award and wrote “SONG OF THE YEAR.”
During the March 26 ceremony, which aired on Fox, host Ludacris and Nikki Glaser announced that he had won Song of the Year at the awards show as the credits started to roll on the broadcast. The singer then walked onstage to deliver accept his award and deliver an acceptance speech, but before he could do so, the “Money Maker” rapper announced that the ceremony had to end.
“We don’t have time for a speech!” Ludacris said into the mic, per footage shared on social media. “We gotta go. Thank you, everybody! Goodnight!”
