Hudson Williams Slams “Hateful ‘Love’” From Heated Rivalry Fans

Hudson Williams is sending some fans to the penalty box.

The Heated Rivalry actor had a message for part of the show’s fandom, calling them out for unwanted behavior.

“Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/ homophobic/biphobic/misogynistic/ageist/ ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind,” Hudson posted to Instagram Stories March 9. “None of us need your hateful ‘love.’”

“We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side,” he added, “if you can’t accept that gtfoh.”

And the 25-year-old wasn’t alone in his thoughts, as his costar François Arnaud shared the same message to his own Instagram Stories.

Since breaking out in the Crave and HBO Max series, Hudson—who confirmed his relationship with his longtime girlfriend on Valentine’s Day—has been surprised by the reactions he’s gotten about his life offscreen

“I didn’t think there would be as many disrespectful people as there are,” he shared with Wonderland in January. “And vice versa, I didn’t think there would be as many respectful people as there are. I thought everyone would just be screaming, nice or kind of like, ‘Oh my God.’”
