Iran Targets Melania and Barron Trump With Disturbing Propaganda Video of How to Assassinate Them
First Lady Melania Trump and her son, Barron Trump, have become the latest targets of anti-U.S. propaganda from Iran. A new video circulating in Iran is encouraging supporters of the country’s Islamic regime to assassinate President Donald Trump’s wife, First Lady Melania Trump.
Titled “How to Kill Melania Trump,” the video features photos of the first lady traveling in a motorcade and at several locations across New York City. It identifies some of the designer stores where she shops. The video claimed the shopping trips could serve as “suitable for operations by global freedom fighters.” It also suggested using a nerve agent to poison clothing the first lady might buy.
Unnecessarily Getting Targeted
The video ends with a threat directed at Barron Trump, 20. “This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us.” Both the first lady and Barron are protected around the clock by the U.S. Secret Service.
Security is also tightly maintained at all of the Trump family’s residences, including the White House, Trump Tower in New York, the Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, and the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
The president’s family has been repeatedly targeted since the conflict with Iran began.
Last week, billboards appeared across Tehran calling for the deaths of Donald Trump and his family, including Melania and his children—Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Barron Trump.
The message on the billboards read: “Blood for blood.”
Melania Maintains Silence
Melania Trump has made few public appearances this month. She did not attend the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner on Friday night. A source close to the first lady told The New York Post that she had a “scheduling conflict.”
Trump has also been the target of threats from Iran and has admitted that he is the country’s top target following a U.S.-Israeli operation that killed its supreme leader and other senior regime figures.
Earlier this month, Trump reportedly switched from the newer Air Force One to an older aircraft while leaving Turkey, where he had attended a NATO summit, because of Iranian threats, according to The New York Times.
Trump told The New York Post that he had “left instructions” in the event Iran succeeded in an assassination plot against him, warning that the response would be severe.
“I’ve been on their list for a long time. That’s what we’re dealing with,” he said. “… The only thing is, I’ve left instructions — if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before.”
