Black Business Month – Range beauty Shark Tank

Black business month is an important celebration for the black community. It marks a time to reflect on the past and look towards the future, and it encourages people to take advantage of all that this country has to offer.

During black business month, there are many opportunities for entrepreneurs who are interested in starting their own businesses or managing existing ones. There are also opportunities for people who have experience in running other businesses, such as restaurants and bars.

Black business month provides a way for people from all walks of life to connect with others who share similar interests and goals. It’s an opportunity for everyone to learn more about each other and how they can help each other grow in their own way!

For black business month, we have a feature from the founder of the 1st black woman-owned makeup brand with a deal on Shark Tank!

Featuring: Alicia Scott and Range Beauty

Amidst a lack of shades and thoughtless ingredients that inflamed eczema and acne, Alicia Scott decided to create a solution that would not compromise her skin’s color, care, or condition. Range Beauty was born as acne and eczema-centered makeup for the forgotten shades. This year, the company aired on Shark Tank and made history as the first Black woman-owned makeup brand to snag a deal.

They weren’t the only ones making history as the episode also featured Shark Tank’s first Black woman guest shark, Emma Grede, co-founder of SKIMS and CEO of Good American. Emma also welcomed Range Beauty into the Fifteen Percent Pledge community which she sits on the board of, an initiative to drive retailers to dedicate 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned brands. Scott said, “they were fortunate to land a $150K dual-deal from QVC queen Lori Greiner and Emma.”

For black business month, enjoy 15% off your order and free shipping for orders $45 or more!

Find Range Beauty covered by Beyonce.com, Allure, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue, W Magazine, Women’s Health, Byrdie, Beauty Independent, and PopSugar and available on Rangebeauty.com as well as Target.com.
