In this week’s episode I’m doing a deep dive into the 4 core elements you need to focus on to make your first $100k and beyond. I want you to know that it can be fun, simple and doable once you get really clear on what that journey looks like for you.

If you can do that, then there’s nothing stopping you from making your first $100,000 and much, much more!

Step 1: Figure out how you’re going to get discovered by your dream customer

First, find out where your dream customers hang out online and start putting yourself out there. There are so many ways to get discovered, from social media to paid ads, YouTube videos, online networking and even in-person networking. Experiment and play around with different options until you find what works for you.

My advice is not to overcomplicate this step — do whatever is the most fun and achievable for you. You have to enjoy it, otherwise you’ll lose interest and it’ll feel way harder than it needs to be!

Step 2: Get them to fall in love with you

Now that people are aware of you, it’s time to let them get to know you and what you’re all about. Your goal is to build an amazing brand that’s going to connect with your audience and clear, cohesive messaging that’s really going to resonate with them.

Again, there are so many ways to do this…

  • You might want to start a podcast where you can share your mission and let people know how you can help them.
  • You could start building an email list so you can nurture your subscribers and keep them up to date with news, quotes, valuable tips and anything else you want to share.
  • You could build your own community where you can bring people into your space and get to know them that way, maybe through a Facebook group or membership
  • You can join other Facebook groups and network with people there, building relationships, showing up and adding value so that people get to know you.

Now that you have an audience of people who love what you’re about and are interested in what you have to say, it’s all about nurturing them, building trust and deepening the relationship. Doing this means that when the time comes to present your offer, they don’t even have to think about it!

Step 3: Get them to buy from you

At some point you’re going to present your audience with an amazing offer, something that’s going to help them solve a problem, achieve their goals, or make their life better in some way. You’ll already know what their pain points and struggles are because you’ve been nurturing them and building the relationship over time, so you’ll know exactly what to create that’s going to be super valuable to them.

When you get people to buy from you, you need to create the most incredible experience for them so that they rave about you on social media and to everyone they know! Go above and beyond when it comes to the quality of your offer, the level of support you offer your customers, even the packaging… make sure every bit of the experience has the ‘wow’ factor so that your brand stands out 🙂

There you have it, my simple 4-step framework for getting to your first $100k and beyond! Over time you can refine your offer and tweak parts of the process so that you create a specific, focused pathway for people to follow. The better you get at this, the faster you’re going to be able to reach your goal!
