Seven & i says Couche-Tard’s US$14.86 per share offer is not adequate

JAPANESE retail giant Seven & i Holdings said on Friday that Alimentation Couche-Tard has offered to take over the company at US$14.86 per share in cash.

Seven & i also said in a statement that the Canadian company’s proposal is not in the best interest of its shareholders and other stakeholders. REUTERS
