Teddi Mellencamp’s Sister Shares Update After Emergency Brain Tumor Surgery – E! Online

“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches,” Teddi  wrote in an Instagram post Feb. 12. “Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months.”

And the 43-year-old—who shares Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4, with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave—explained that she would have to undergo an emergency surgery that day for the larger tumors, with radiation treatments to be planned for the smaller ones “at a later date.”
