Are we really facing a crisis in Canada if MPs haven’t sat for more than five months and are only coming back to Ottawa for 12 days at most? (Postmedia files)

Re: Stocks running low; Ranger rifles need rapid repairs, May 21

I don’t know about anyone else, but, when I spend a lot of money on something, I expect to get quality and what was promised. Yet here we are again wasting millions of dollars to replace equipment for the military and making taxpayers foot the bill again. My questions are: Who writes up these contracts, who approves them and why aren’t there provisions in them that hold the companies delivering the goods responsible ensuring quality product? This reminds me of the used submarines we bought that we spent loads of money refurbishing and the new ships delivered where some had to be drydocked because of flooding and mechanical problems. These ships have only a one-year warranty and, considering the cost, it’s hardly enough time to ensure we’re getting our money’s worth. If Canadian companies are incapable of producing quality equipment for our men and women of the forces, then go elsewhere. Damn the “elbows up” gang because they only use that when it’s convenient for their narrative.

(The brave men and women who volunteer for Canada deserve nothing but the best. Someone should be held accountable for this, another mess up.)

SADLY, PRAISED BY HAMAS

Re: Canada’s Israel statement garners Hamas praise, condemnation from Jewish, Israeli groups, online, May 20

With PM Mark Carney joining fellow globalist leaders Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer in wanting targeted sanctions against Israel, the only real democracy in the Middle East, he is following the same anti-Israel stance as Justin Trudeau. How sad to have terrorist Hamas praising Carney for his anti-Israel views. The more the Liberals change, the more they remain the same, with winning dictating all policies and actions.

(We didn’t expect anything different from another Liberal government.)

NOTHING BUT LOVE FOR TRUMP

Let’s show U.S. President Donald Trump that there is nothing but love for our president when he arrives in Alberta (in June for the G7 leaders’ summit in Kananaskis). The Alberta government should salute Trump by declaring it “America-Alberta Day” on the day that Air Force One lands in Alberta! I know thousands of Albertans will be coming out to greet Trump with a hero’s welcome. We are honoured to cordially welcome him on his first of what we hope will be many trips to Alberta. God bless America, God bless Alberta and God bless President Trump!

(So you’re pro-separation we take it?)
