SINGAPORE — Jul 8, 2024 — Wonder Strategic International (WSI) has secured a six-figure strategic investment from Mr. Jimmy Poh, an accomplished Real Estate Senior Associate Division Director renowned for his exceptional performance and expertise in the industry.
With nearly eight years of experience, Jimmy has established himself as a top achiever. Jimmy held significant roles in the banking and technology sectors. At *DBS Bank*, he served as Vice President for Internet and Mobile Banking for eBusiness. In this role, he delivered multiple key milestones for both DBS Internet and Mobile Banking Applications, demonstrating his leadership and technical acumen. Jimmy also made notable contributions at BT Frontline and BT Global Services.
WSI is also pleased to announce the appointment of two new advisors to the team – Mr Jimmy Poh and Mr Howie Lau, this complements the existing team of advisors board.
Mr. Poh, with his wealth knowkedge of expriences in Technologies at DBS Bank and BT Frontline. He will also be appointed as the Technology Advisor to enhance the company’s technological capabilities.
Mr. Howie Lau, currently the Managing Partner at NCS, previously served as the Assistant Chief Executive of the Media & Innovation Group at the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). In this role, he oversaw the development of technology, telecommunications, and media businesses in Singapore, as well as the advancement of technology capabilities. Before his tenure at IMDA, Howie Lau held the positions of Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Consumer Business at StarHub, and Vice President of Corporate Development at Lenovo. Mr. Lau is set to be appointed as the Advisor for New Media Intellectual Property.
Both Mr. Lau and Mr. Poh will support CEO Mr. Alan Eucharis at the advisory board level, contributing to the company’s ongoing growth and expansion. With these strategic appointments, the business aims to enhance its readiness for future success.
