Prince William and Kate Middleton have mini royal reporters in their three children.
The Prince of Wales shared some insight into his conversations with his kids—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—while in South Africa for the Earthshot Prize Awards.
Appearing in a cute video on Nov. 11 with Robert Irwin to discuss the upcoming award show, William is asked by the son of the late conservationist Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin, “Do you have a favorite African animal? It’s a tough question.”
“It’s a really tough question,” William agreed, “and my children ask me this regularly.”
As for the 42-year-old’s pick, he went with speed and selected the cheetah.
“Very cool, very cool,” Robert, 20, replied, noting, “It’s chameleons for me. The unsung hero. I love ‘em.”
William and Robert also visited Table Mountain National Park to speak with park rangers and volunteers about the conservation work being done in the Cape Floral Kingdom.
