Raffles Family Office hires Terence Chow as group chief operating officer

He will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to the company’s group chief and co-founder Kwan Chi-man

RAFFLES Family Office has named Terence Chow, formerly a wealth management chief executive at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), as its group chief operating officer (COO).

The appointment was effective Jul 2, said the commercial multi-family office on Thursday (Jul 11).

Chow will be based in Hong Kong, reporting to the company’s group chief and co-founder Kwan Chi-man.

In his role as group COO, he will be responsible for business transformation, business management, risk management, as well as corporate real estate and procurement functions.

He will also be a member of the board of management, leading its operations, technology capabilities and innovation.

Chow, who has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business, Western University in Canada.

He held several senior positions within RBC prior to his last role as wealth management chief. 

Raffles Family Office also noted that he helped the Canadian bank to achieve significant growth in revenue and assets under management while enhancing operational efficiencies.

“Terence’s wealth of experience and expertise is an invaluable asset in building a robust and thriving wealth management business,” said Kwan.

“His proven track record in driving business transformation and operational excellence will be essential as we continue to expand and enhance our services for our clients.”
