Kate Middleton Details Family’s “Incredibly Tough” 9 Months Amid Her Cancer Journey – E! Online

Kate Middleton is reflecting on her health journey.

While sharing she’d finished her chemotherapy treatments, the Princess of Wales, who opened up about her cancer diagnosis earlier this year, gave insight into her difficult road to recovery. 

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” Kate explained in a video shared to social media. “Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

In the video, the 42-year-old could be seen enjoying moments with her family, including husband Prince William and their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone,” she continued, “especially those closest to you.”

Kate explained that dealing with a health issue such as cancer for the better part of a year “also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”
