Malia Nummerdor: Florida Woman Arrested after Husband Finds Videos of Her Engaging in Sexual Acts with Family Dog, Police Say

A Florida woman was arrested after her husband allegedly discovered surveillance footage showing her engaged in a sexual act with the family dog. Malia Nummerdor, 38, was arrested in Florida this week on allegations that she had sexual contact with the family dog.

The case surfaced after her husband posted the accusations on Facebook and said he had photographic and video evidence. The man told deputies that he had installed two security cameras inside the home while trying to confirm who was taking money from a coin container. He later checked the footage from a bedroom camera and allegedly discovered recordings involving Nummerdor and the dog, the arrest report said.

Shocking Discovery

The surveillance cameras installed inside the Florida home were reportedly not hidden from the people living there. According to the woman’s husband, everyone in the household knew about their presence.

However, footage from one of the cameras eventually led to a far more serious investigation. While going through recordings captured by a camera in a bedroom, the husband said he came across video that allegedly showed Nummerdor with the family dog, Ranger.

Investigators later reviewed material provided by the husband, who supplied screenshots from the recording and gave deputies access to the laptop where the surveillance files were stored.

The allegations were subsequently put to Nummerdor during a police interview on Sept. 15.

She admitted that she was the woman shown in the footage and confirmed that the animal was the family’s dog, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the video showed her partially nude, with the animal positioned in a way investigators considered consistent with sexual activity.

Not Admitting to Having Sex

Nummerdor rejected that interpretation. She told investigators that there had been no sexual contact and maintained that she was simply petting the dog. Detectives, however, said they were unable to reconcile her explanation with what appeared in the recording.

The sheriff’s office said her responses during questioning were inconsistent, and she eventually asked to speak with an attorney, bringing the interview to an end.

Nummerdor was subsequently taken into custody and booked into the Charlotte County Jail. She faces a second-degree felony charge of sexual activity involving an animal under Florida law and was being held on a $35,000 bond, according to authorities. Arrest records list the charge as sexual contact with an animal.

The case remains an allegation at the charging stage, and Nummerdor has denied the alleged sexual conduct.
