Wars, politics, opinions… thing haven’t changed in thousands of years, just the focus. How about we change things. Not religious, nor political, nor tariff. Can we just change and start to promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate?

(It’s a nice sentiment)

NO JUSTICE WITH FRASER

Anyone who has followed Sean Fraser’s appalling record as Justin Trudeau’s immigration, then housing minister should not be surprised he is disastrous as justice minister. It is shocking that PM Mark Carney rewarded him with this serious and important position.

Under Trudeau’s weak-on-crime, revolving-door justice system, violent crime in Canada rose by about 40 per cent. With Justice Minister Fraser, Canadians will continue to get more of the same.

LARRY COMEAU

(Sadly, we get what we voted for this time.)

Won’t be missed

I would like to welcome the Federal Liberal Caucus to their Last Trip to Edmonton while it is part of Canada!  Next year we will vote proudly for independence where Edmonton will become the National Capital of the Alberta Republic. With no more Equalization payments to Canada we’ll have better services and lower taxes. With no more Liberal Environmental Roadblocks we’ll sign a bi-lateral agreement with the United States to have pipelines to both the Atlantic and the Pacific to export our Oil internationally. Our new scenic high speed rail loop between Edmonton, Jasper, Banff and Calgary will make us a World-Class Tourism Destination. With Canada out of the way, Alberta will swiftly arrive at its best possible future!

(You’re pretty confident on this, eh?)

CLOCK ALREADY RUNNING DOWN

Mark Carney’s use of the hockey “elbows up” analogy didn’t work out so well against Donald Trump after all. He’s now skating on thin ice.

From what I’ve seen, it looks like he went into the corner with Trump, got flattened, lost his jock strap and crawled back to the bench.

Now, with time running out, he wants to rag the puck and score. With no goalie or defence, the only scoring he’s doing is into his own net.

I think it’s time Canada iced a new team and got some respect back.

ED LACELLE

(Wouldn’t it be nice if it were that easy?)
