THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday (Jul 11):
Keppel, Keppel DC Reit: The data centre real estate investment trust (Reit) and its sponsor are jointly acquiring a 100 per cent interest in a shell and core data centre based in Tokyo, Japan. The total purchase consideration of 23.4 billion yen (S$201 million) stands at a 2.5 per cent discount to the property’s valuation, said the Reit manager on Thursday. Units of Keppel DC Reit ended Wednesday up S$0.02 or 1.1 per cent at S$1.85, while Keppel shares were S$0.11 or 1.7 per cent higher at S$6.68.
Sats: The in-flight caterer and ground handler has restructured its gateway services business to form two new business units. The move reflects Sats’ strategic decision to continue investing in Singapore, while scaling its international presence to capture growth opportunities overseas, said the group on Wednesday. Shares of Sats closed 0.7 per cent or S$0.02 higher at S$3.06, after the news.
